Ryan Gosling Performs At The Opera House
Ryan Gosling and his band move their equipment into The Opera House in Toronto, Canada where they performed on Tuesday (October 20).
The 28-year-old actor/musician is now touring with Zach Shields as the Dead Man’s Bones. “Twelve cities in 14 days, a different choir in every city, and then a talent show opening for us in every city with local talent,” he told the Canadian Press.
Ryan shared, “It’s hard to tour this record and also do writing, but a lot of what we end up writing for the next record just finds some way into the live show…into our old songs, so I think that we’re playing our songs differently now.”

The tour goes on all month and kicks off @ 8PM at Middle East on Wednesday (October 14) in Cambridge, Mass.
Check out the promo below — it involves a dog popping a bunch of balloons! Later this month, Ryan and BFF Zach Shields‘ band Dead Man’s Bones will appear in a special month-long residency at the City’s famed Bob Baker Marionette Theater. The theater will play host to both Dead Man’s Bones and the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s choir, who appear on the band’s self-titled debut. The residency will showcase a unique collaboration between the theater and the band. The band scored and directed these performances, and will be providing the soundtrack to an unusual and remarkable spectacle.

Ryan Gosling Kicks Off Tour In October — Kids Included!
Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields are set to bring their band Dead Man’s Bones on its very first tour this October.
Pitchfork reports, “The actor/musician duo will bring the songs from their band’s self-title debut album to life with the help of a local choir in each of the twelve spots they’re hitting. Their album was recorded with the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir but they can’t bring all those kids on the road with them. Hence, a new group in every city.”
The opening act for the shows will be a talent show, organized by the band and featuring local talent in each city. Amazing! Check out the tour promo video below. It’s almost exactly like one of those videos you watch before you enter a haunted mansion at an amusement park!

This time he didn't have his fan club stopping him to pose for photos, but Ryan is happy to oblige when the ladies find him. Ryan frequently finds ways to show off his big heart, but I'm also always impressed by his buff physique. He doesn't take off his shirt often, but whether or not he hits the road when his album comes out, he's already one of the hottest guys in the indie music scene.

You love him as a romantic lead, but will you love Ryan Gosling as a musician and singer? In a few months, Ryan's debut album will hit stores.
On October 6, Anti- will release Dead Man's Bones' self-titled debut album. (It was previously titled Never Let a Lack of Talent Get You Down.)
Here's Gosling talking about what motivated the album's sound:
"You know when you're a kid and you get crayons and papers and just draw whatever you want and it's just a bunch of messy lines, but to you it makes sense, and then they put it on the fridge? From that point on, you're always trying to get back on the fridge, you start drawing things that look like something, like, the more it looks like a horse, the more chance you have of getting it on the fridge.
We wanted to get back to that place before we were trying to make the fridge. We wanted to work with people who hadn't been affected in that way yet."
Seems like more and more actors are trying to become musicians and vice versa. However, Ryan doesn't seem the type to be in it for the fame. Looking forward to seeing how the album does.
